The Blood Cries Out

But there is something else in this verse that is very important. It’s the word blood. Blood. The Bible talks a lot about it. In fact, I was just speaking with someone not too long ago that recounted to me their early exposure to Christianity prior to accepting Christ as their Savior. Do you know what this person said? They said, “When I first started going to church I thought ‘This is a really bloody religion.’” This person was kind of put off by this. Like it was a little disgusting. Well they eventually understood. But really our whole hope in Christ is based on his blood.
