God Wipes out the Wicked but Rescues the Righteous

So then why does God say that he regretted? Why was He grieved? Why was He sorry? This is an anthropomorphism. It gives God a human characteristic. It simply indicates the emotion that God has in this situation. But God’s emotions are not like ours. He did not regret in that he did something wrong. He did not regret in that if He had to do it all over again he wouldn’t have created the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil
