The Promise of Annihilation and the Making of an Ark Builder

Now just imagine for a moment that you are Noah. No just imagine that you are you. Ok, it’s 2019 and you’re sitting in your house. And there’s no Bible. There’s no book of Daniel or Revelation. There’s no nation of Israel. You don’t even know the name Jesus, just that a snake crusher is coming. And God Almighty says to you Hey, I have decided to destroy the world, and I mean everybody, all flesh, because they are so violent. I’m going to wipe them off the face of the earth.” That’s heavy. And your first thought is, “me too?” Do I get out of this one? And then your second thought is “why me?” What a statement for Noah to digest.
