When God's Patience Runs Out

Earlier in the sermon I called this passage “flood week.” And verse four is the reason. In verse one God tells Noah and his family to enter the ark, along with all of the animals. The destruction of mankind was no longer a faraway thought. It was no longer an obscure idea. The abstract was about to become actual. In seven days God would begin his destruction. In seven days, God’s patience would run out.
